Winter is beautiful, dark and hibernatey. Being indoors so much more during these winter months, we needed a project that brought color to our lives. This easy window decoration is simple, fun and adds a lot of charm to your living space.
Materials:
• Cellophane- (at craft stores it comes in huge rolls and can get pricey. We used hygloss)
• Contact paper
• ScissorsIMG_2586
• Tape

1. Cut the cellophane into shapes: Big, small, square, triangle, anything
2. Cut any size or shape of contact paper. Peel off the paper and tape down the corners (sticky side up)
3. Arrange the cellophane shapes any way you like (patterned, random)
4. Hang

Variations:
• Instead of cellophane, use transparent colored index dividers and/or tissue paper.
• Instead of contact paper, I have seen soap and water used: solution 2/3 cup water with 1/3 cup dish soap. Simply use a child-sized sponge roller and roll the solution right on to the window and place the cellophane atop.
The results are beautiful and colorful.
